Design Request: 

Clients desired a home for their changing family dynamics-- kids were moving out of the house and the couple wanted a home for the two of them but with some space for the kids to come home to.

Design Challenges:

• Clients wanted a contemporary style.

• Upstairs footprint was small but needed for desired verticality.

Design Solutions: 

• Make home seem larger and have more interest with upper level located off of front facing stair tower.

• Low-sloped hip roofs help to create a more contemporary feel.
