Blue J Design Studio, LLC is the brainchild of Jaclyn Hanson, a registered architect in Indiana and Ohio as well as a LEED BD+C and HOMES accredited professional.

Her passion for designing homes began during family road trips to Florida in the early1980s. After obtaining her degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, she worked at several architecture and interior design firms, primarily in commercial design.

 

Jaclyn took a hiatus from architecture to focus on family and during this time, developed an interest in how a home's design impacts family life. In 2016, she returned to architecture and began working at a custom builder, where she gained valuable experience in wood-framed construction, the residential design process, residential systems, and working with homeowners to make their home dreams a reality.

Since 2019, Blue J Design Studio has been collaborating with homeowners to craft design solutions for their existing and/or future homes.
